Well, here are my pictures - I apologize for the quality but it is really hard to take pictures with one eye focused and one eye not (due to the cataract surgery). I can't wait until the other eye is done so I can view things clearly.
First, here is what my partner Kathy Alderfer sent me.
The Bracelet
The Earrings
Spiral Necklace with Peyote Slide
Pendant with Chain Necklace and with Spiral Necklace added

Pretty pinki! Love that!
ReplyDeleteI am SO sorry for being late -- today our internet provider decided to crash. My stress level is through the roof, to say the least! They're still working on it, but it's like dial-up.
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but that seed-beaded necklace? Holy smokes. I have a particular fondness for those because it's something I have NO talent or patience for and I respect anyone who can do that.
I hope you participate again!
Love, Lori
Yay, I finally get to see it! Amazing detail in the pendants. Love the convertible aspect of the necklaces! The bracelet is perfect. Good job!
ReplyDeleteEverything is just wonderful, I especially like the necklace how you can mix and match it up! seed beads are so relaxing. I love that the earrings are different too!
ReplyDeleteVery nice creations! I love the embroidered piece especially. Great color combinations.
ReplyDeleteWow! You created a huge collection! Amazing beadwork in the last necklace you showed -I love it! Terrific job - lots of creativity and talent!
ReplyDeletePS: Did you know you are right around the corner from me? I own a bead shop in Augusta GA (Wagener isn't that far!) -you should come visit when you can see again! (http://www.yayabeads.com)

Very pretty, great embroidery.
ReplyDeletewow very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteChrista, I love the pink with the earthy colors in the findings! There is a wonderful, rich Victorian feeling to your finished piece. I really love how you made it versatile as well. Gorgeous! Thank you for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful creations! I love how you used the clasp and charm for the earrings! Nice soup!
ReplyDeleteI'm a pink person and I just kept loving piece after piece after piece as I was scrolling down. That last piece is spectacular.
ReplyDeleteAmazing!
ReplyDeletebeautiful colours, shapes - really great job!
major swoon! all of your work is incredible and the earrings are so playful and cute!
ReplyDeleteWow you must have put hours into this design. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful jewellery! I must say the earrings are my favourites. There's a very good balance in that mismatched/asymmetrical pair. Also, I like how you incorporated the clasp in one.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the whole set, I am jealous of the amount of patience you must have to use all those seed beads. I particularly enjoyed the earnings and that they do not match but are clearly a set.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!!!
ReplyDeleteYour work is beautiful! Congrats. (those earrings are droolworthy)
ReplyDeletewow, so much work! I love the color palette you had to work with.
ReplyDeleteHappy Hopping

ReplyDeleteYour bead work on the pendant is stunning! Your pieces are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWow, the pink is terrific! I love what you did, and particularly the bead embroidery. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe earrings are my favorite. No one ever makes asymmetrical earrings, and that one of them is the clasp! Ha! Very clever, and lovely beading.
ReplyDeleteI love the earrings, good design. Bead weaving is very nice addition to your projects. Bead embroidery, whoa, that is something. I will have to try it again some time, you have inspired me.
ReplyDeleteYour pieces are just beautiful - I love the colors and the designs are stunning. Fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say that the whimsical earrings were my favorite, but then I scrolled down and saw the pendant. As a beadweaver/embroiderer myself, this necklace really spoke to me. And it said "this lady's work ROCKS!" Lovely, lovely job!
ReplyDeleteNever thought of usig a clasp for a earring, how creative. Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteWow WowWow!!!!!! Those earrings are fabulous!! I love asymmetrical work and these are stunning!! Your bead embroidery is gorgeous as well!! Bravo!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great soup you had to work with! I love the pink and brown together.
ReplyDeleteAll of your pieces are just lovely, but that last one with the big pendant is spectacular!! WOW!
ReplyDeleteAmazing pieces, all those little tiny beads... I do not have the patience for LOL! You have amazing talent! Beautiful! The mismatched earrings are my favorite though, so creative!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing amount of work!! I love the natural feel of the bracelet. And the mismatched earrings are gorgeous. Beautful beadwork in the necklaces :)

ReplyDeleteExcellent work! how on earth did you manage all those tiny beads with your eyes like that?! Stunning work :) I'm not a 'pink' person but still...I really love those earrings, too :)
ReplyDeleteYou did all of that with one "good" eye?!? Wow! Absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the earring! Way to think outside of the box. I often do mismatched earring pairs but that was great! And I totally respect any seed bead work - as I can hardly thread a needle!!! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat focal framed in the peyote stitch is wonderful! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteAmbra
Wow, you did all this with only one eye focussed! Amazing. I love the antique feel about the bracelet and earrings set... the peachy tones with the bronze is really feminine. And I love that the earrings are different to each other... they are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThese are crazy good designs! So much work went into designing these. You are one talented lady! Really Soup-er job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection. The earrings are super fun and the beadwork is fantastic. The focal you created is amazing!

You got so many different looks from your bead soup. The way the earrings are different and would be, for me, very brave. They look great.
